Happiness is childhood... then you always have the little details, like Honey Antonio Sim贸n
If you want a honey whose origin, content or preparation you cannot guarantee, you have come to the wrong place, now, if you are looking for pure, natural, raw organic honey, without treatments, you are in the right place.
Honey Antonio Sim贸n produces organic honey directly from the hives to the container, in a completely handmade way and without adding processes or additives of any kind. Honey Antonio Sim贸n hives are located in natural places of special ecological interest, far from crop fields or inhabited areas where they may be affected by pesticides or contamination. We are pioneers in organic certification, however, Miel Antonio Sim贸n was one of the first companies to achieve EU organic certification in Spain, which guarantees that all our honeys strictly comply with the demanding organic food regulations.
Our customers are the best proof of the quality of our honey, 99.9% continue with us after trying it for the first time (we believe that the remaining 0.1% thought they were buying jam). We have loyal customers for more than 15 years, for a reason.

So let us tell you a story:
Antonio Sim贸n (the one in the photo) is the founder of the company that bears his same name, his great-grandfather was already a beekeeper back in 1897 and had his hives in La Alcarria (Guadalajara, Spain), later his grandfather and then his father Antonio Sim贸n continued with the family tradition until in 1984 Antonio took charge of the apiaries and introduced improvements in the production and quality of honey, including organic certification.
Currently his son -Daniel Sim贸n- and his son-in-law -Rub茅n Mancilla-, fifth generation of beekeepers, take care of the hives and all the processes that make Miel Antonio Sim贸n a benchmark in terms of quality worldwide. We continue to do the same as 125 years ago, pure natural honey, completely handmade.
We are very proud of our honey and our work, of the numerous awards we have received – among them the prestigious London Honey Awards, obtained for two consecutive years in the Platinum category (highest award) with our rosemary and oak honeys respectively, which endorses us as one of the best honeys in the world- and above all the recognition and loyalty of our customers who are, after all, the best sign that we must be doing something right.
FREQUENT QUESTIONS
Conventional honey does not guarantee that the content is 100% honey (syrups can be used, even sugar in its composition). Neither does it guarantee its origin, nor is it free of artificial treatments, pesticides or additives. Quite the opposite occurs with Antonio Sim贸n Honey, the organic certification of our honey guarantees that the honey is pure and natural from the origin, without phytosanitary treatments or additives. Honey is produced in an artisanal and traditional way.
Antonio Sim贸n Honey is aware that the customers who buy his honey are very demanding, which is why we select the best honey for antoniosimonhoney.com, currently offering the varieties of oak, chestnut, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus or thyme. If you are looking for another variety that you do not find on this list, let us know and we will see if we can assist you.
The honey sold on antoniosimonhoney.com comes from apiaries in Spain and Portugal. Our production is focused on the central area of Spain, but we are also transhumant beekeepers, which means that we travel throughout the territory looking for the places where the best blooms are found. The Iberian Peninsula has a wide variety of climates and ecosystems, each conducive to certain blooms. For example, the central area is rich in rosemary and thyme, the north and west in eucalyptus, oak occurs throughout the north and also in some central areas, orange blossom comes from the east and south of Spain. The common denominator of these enclaves is their situation as a protected ecological zone.
Organic honey of any variety share similar nutritional characteristics among all of them, however, the organoleptic properties differ significantly depending on the plant/flower from which they come, rosemary honey will not have the same characteristics (sweet, floral and almost transparent). than an oak honey (dark, dense and not so sweet), in the same way that a white wine differs from a red wine. Honeys “inherit” the properties of the plant from which they come, so the benefits attributed to each one also vary depending on the variety. We recommend seeing the description of each honey to discover each case.
Of course, if you’re part of the 0.1% who thought you were buying jam 馃槄, or for any other strange reason you didn’t like our honey, just return the product to us and we’ll refund you. You can see our return policy here.
