Dark Forest Honey Set — Raw Organic Honey Collection

For those who prefer their honey dark, intense and full of character.

This set brings together four of our most complex raw organic honeys, each one sourced from forest trees and shrubs growing in protected natural spaces across Spain and Portugal. Oak — dense and not so sweet, London Honey Awards Platinum winner. Heather — with its unique gel-like texture and intense aroma. Chestnut — dark and marron glacé taste, rich in minerals and antioxidants. And Strawberry Tree — one of Spain’s rarest honeys, with its unmistakable bitter-sweet flavour and granular texture.

None of these honeys are for the faint-hearted. All of them are unpasteurized, unfiltered and produced without any additives or treatments. Straight from hive to jar.

Four jars of 250 g · EU Certified Organic · London Honey Awards — Platinum (Oak)

Not for everyone and that’s what I love about it. If you want something that tastes like generic supermarket honey, look elsewhere. These are all bold, distinctive, and genuinely interesting. The oak took some getting used to but now I love it on toast.

The strawberry tree honey alone is worth the whole set. I’d never even heard of it before but it’s become my absolute favourite — slightly bitter, really complex. The oak and chestnut are both rich and earthy in completely different ways. Not your typical honey selection and I mean that in the best way possible.

Bought it as a gift for my father who is a bit of a honey enthusiast. He called me the next day just to tell me about the strawberry tree one. The only reason it’s not five stars is that one of the jars arrived with a slightly loose lid, but the honey itself was perfect.
